André Sauvé induces laughter for a good cause at Lachine Hospital fundraiser
Over $45,000 raised for the modernization of Lachine Hospital
Lachine Hospital Foundation supporters were taken on a comedic journey by André Sauvé, one of Quebec’s top comedians, in a benefit performance on November 12, 2015.
It was a packed house at L’Entrepôt, the state-of-the art concert hall on Lachine’s waterfront, where Sauvé, a Lachine native, entertained the audience with his offbeat humour that was presented in the form of short vignettes. All money raised will go towards the continued modernization of the Lachine Hospital.
“We are very happy with the success of the 2nd edition of this concert series and wish to thank all those who took part. We are fortunate to have loyal sponsors who support our fundraising activities, in particular Spinelli, who was a major partner for this event.” said Jacques Filion, chairman of the Lachine Hospital Foundation’s board of directors. “With the government’s $70 million redevelopment plans for the hospital on the horizon, the Foundation’s support is more important than ever and events such as this help us fulfill our mandate of providing the best care possible to each and every patient that enters the Lachine Hospital.”
